Recently, you have changed the composition, newcomers have come. Already managed to adapt?

He is an experienced player – and there are no problems with him. With "Satanic" [alan Galyamov] more complicated: he is young, he is only 17 years old. And "rue" [Alexander Filin] is already an adult – he is 20 years old. He is young in terms of e -sports, but already has a little more life experience. In personal communication, guys are funny and there are no problems. So far, not everything turns out in places, but according to my feelings we can play well.
How unexpected was Ilya's departure of “Yatoro” Mularchuk and Miroslav “Mira” Kolpakov?
This was not a surprise. People have been playing together for a long time, and during the season he felt the moment that they were tired. Somewhere a heavy atmosphere in the team was. Not everyone can constantly play at a high level without a break. I would like to relax from "Dota". Therefore, such a decision was not amazing for me. I felt that it should be so.
Do you help the guys adapt? After all, a year ago you were in their place.
I rather create a relaxed atmosphere in which they are not afraid to joke at me. Because I myself love to have fun, and not to walk on a serious face. It is important that they do not feel the pressure that I won TI – and now look at me from the bottom. Maybe this I help them.
You came to the finished composition to replace Alexander Torontotokyo Hertek, whether you just had to enter the team?
I think it was more difficult. Because my role in the previous team was different from the current. I could farm more, there were more crews on the map and, in general, more performed the functions of the AFK mider. And in Spirit players are more greedy in the game, they take a lot of pharma. Therefore, during the season it was necessary to learn somewhere to sacrifice this, somewhere more to create moments.
But "Satanic" and "yatoro" gameplay similar. That is, he does not need to change anything, just play well. The Team Spirit team has become the strongest team in your career, did the pressure felt due to the transition?
I understood that the team would not be like Torontotokyo. No one would replace it 100%. Therefore, only a matter of time was raised, how quickly I or another player would open in this place. In any case, when the team makes a replacement, it means that there are some insoluble difficulties.
You always dreamed of becoming an e -sports department?
Yes, I always played both Dota 2 and Counter-Strike. True, at some point I cooled to CS. He began to play tightly in Dota. And somehow everything turned out so well: both MMR grew up, and the game formed. Naturally, when I watched The International, I wanted to be on stage and play before the audience. Therefore, at some point it was the goal. Moreover, this is the only thing I could at that age. I raised the school, even went to college after grade 9. I gave myself half a year for thought: will I like to study. But it became boring – and I returned to Dota. It seems that everything in itself turned out, but the goal was still.
Could you imagine being the boy that your thoughts about The International stage will become a reality?
I think yes. All this was visualized, even dreamed of thematic dreams, in which he won something. There was some kind of Minet. And still, all this desire is preserved. I can fly on an airplane and imagine how I will take another int.
And about CS you had such thoughts when you still played?
To be honest, I was not attracted so, like meaggers. There was always some kind of story near Inta. It was the main discipline tournament. Everyone wanted to get on him. For me it is better than playing cs endless tournaments. But the old ints changed the lives of people, and the last … I'm not sure that you can win and live well.
In this regard, how much the feeling of the holiday on The International now remains?

Previously, everyone was waiting for the compensation – and this created a special wave of discussion. And now few people even want to buy it. Ti remains an important part of the competitive scene. But Valve has installed a high bar for itself, but now it does not correspond to it.
How your parents reacted to participate in the tournament?
Parents were not particularly interested in what I was doing. When I already won The International, they began to discuss this in their native Novosibirsk, they talked about it in the media. Then they already recognized. And the sisters ask something, follow. In general, they know that I live normally, I help them with money. It is important for me that I have the opportunity to help my family, because I know what life people have in the regions and how difficult it is for them to find a good job. I always wanted to come to shops and buy what I want, but not enough money.
What do you spend your prize?
I do not make large purchases, mostly I smoke the money. When the moment comes, I probably just buy an apartment for myself. I do not plan to open a business – it seems to me that the player’s strange decision is to go to business. It is better to buy real estate for yourself and know that it will not burn out. For business, you still need experience. I also buy any things that I like. Not necessarily expensive. I can usually buy something within 100 thousand rubles.
What the most expensive thing you have?
